Compliance Audits
As an owner of an operator licence you will be aware of the requirements to meet the eleven undertakings signed off by the Directors and Transport Manager at the time of application and no doubt you have excellent systems in place to ensure compliance.
A robust compliance system must stand up to rigorous scrutiny and any operator doesn't want that scrutiny to be the DVSA, only for you to find the system isn't a robust as perhaps it should be.​​
Internal Audits
Therefore to ensure the systems that you have put in place, are as robust as possible, it is good practice to conduct an internal audit as a first step to ensure compliance, and giving you reassurance they will stand up to scrutiny when it matters most. We offer a very pragmatic approach to these audits and give honest no nonsense practical advice on any issues we may find at the end of the audit. with agreed actions points followed up in a realistic time frame to ensure they have been actioned.
External Audits
We can also conduct external audits on your behalf if you feel it appropriate to check on the compliance of your sub contractors or suppliers. This is particularly important if you may find yourself to subject to external audits from your customers and you want to be safe in the knowledge everyone in your supply chain including yourself are compliant and meet the expectations from your client, safeguarding that hard won contract.
